Looping LED Pendant Light — Matt Black

A single continuous loop of sanded matt black aluminium tubing that crosses over itself to form a fluid, almost calligraphic curve in the air. The opal silicone diffuser runs the inner edge of the loop, throwing a soft and even glow downward — the effect is sculptural rather than mechanical, closer in feel to a continuous line drawn through space than to a conventional pendant.

The architectural form works best in spaces where the eye has room to read the full geometry: above a large dining table where the loop can be appreciated from below, in a double-height living room or stairwell where it can be seen from multiple levels, or as a contemporary statement in an entrance hall. The sanded matt black finish is deliberate — it gives the loop real visual weight without competing with whatever else is in the room.
