Dark 14-Light Cascading Pendant Light

Fourteen spherical glass globes — amber and smoke-grey, in three sizes — cascade from a single 600mm matt black ceiling rose with satin brass details. The drop heights stagger deliberately, with the largest globes hung lowest and smaller globes scattered through the upper portion of the cluster. The result is a single fitting that reads at multiple scales simultaneously: as a singular architectural feature from far away, as a composition of distinct globes at viewing distance, and as fourteen discrete points of warm light when illuminated.

Spanish-designed and made, mid-decorative tier. The mixed-tone glass globes (amber for warmth, smoke-grey for visual weight) and the satin brass detailing on the ceiling rose place this firmly in the considered-decorative category — a fitting where the craft of the glass and the metalwork is part of what's being purchased, not just the lighting function.

Best installed in double-height stairwell voids, entrance halls, atrium spaces, and open-plan living areas viewed from a mezzanine — anywhere with vertical proportion to hold the full 3-metre maximum drop. In rooms below 3 metres of ceiling height, the cascade compresses awkwardly and loses its visual rhythm; this fitting genuinely needs the vertical space to read properly.

The 14 individual globes use G9 LED lamps (4W each) for a combined 56W of warm light, distributed across the full vertical span of the installation rather than concentrated at one point. Adjustable cord lengths mean each globe can be positioned individually during installation to match the geometry of the specific space.

For smaller spaces or shorter drops, the Dark 9-Light Cascading Pendant is the same fitting with nine globes and a 2-metre maximum drop — better suited to kitchen islands, dining settings, and ceilings under 3 metres.
