Drift Pendant

Drift is a custom made task light designed to be suspended above kitchen benches. Constructed from New Zealand grown pine and featuring carved panels that have been burnt black, this pendant is a striking feature for any contemporary kitchen. The result is a luminaire that not only functions as a bright task light, but offers the warmth of handcrafted timber and is a feature in itself.

Drift is adaptable. It is able to be made to measure varying in length up to 2800mm. Being suspended by adjustable cables, any drop height can be allowed for. Down rods can also be made up if preferred.

Drift is illuminated by 3000k 24V 19w/m LED tape adhered to aluminum extrusions with opal diffusers. The down and up light are wired independently so they can be dimmed or turned off separately if desired, the electrical cable is 3mm 3 core low voltage wire in clear insulation.
The minimal design means the driver(s) need to be installed in the roof space, or some other space you can access like a cupboard for example. Internal wiring has been verified by a registered electrician and the luminaire comes with compliance, installation and wiring documents. Complies with AS/NZS 60598.1:2017 class lll.
